THE PROGRAMME OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY OF SOUTH AFRICA (MARXST – LENINIST), CPSA (M –L) – Overview
The CPSA (M-L) in its Programme adopted at the inaugural congress of December 16 – 18, 1988, stated that the birth and establishment of South Africa as a country was a result of three major events towards the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th. These three events were: the discovery of the minerals (diamond and then gold); the Anglo-Boer War and the British parliament’s passing of the South Africa Act in 1909 which led to the Union of South Africa in 1910.

IMPERIALISM, THE STATE AND THE CURRENT REFORMS
So much has been said and written about the problem of socialism to the extent that the intellect of many people especially those who have never been part of the proletarian –socialist movement have become numbered. It is true that for the greatest majority of the South African masses including progressive intellectuals and activists the stand, the viewpoint and method of scientific socialism are but little known. The bourgeoisie, whether of nationalist or imperialist or opportunist orientation have appointed themselves as the authorities on questions and problems of socialism and opportunism with those of Marxism – Leninism.

VICTORY TO THE AMCU MEMBERS IN THE PLATINUM BELT STRIKE.
The Communist Party of South Africa ( Marxist-Leninist ), CPSA(M-L), sulates the heroic and uncompromising struggles of the Amcu members who went on strike from 23rd January up to 23rd June 2014 in the Platinum Belt. The CPSA(M-L) also salutes the Amcu solid leadership who stick firm to the mandate of its members of the minimum wage demand of R12 500, no matter what. The unity between the workers and their leadership leads to victory at all times. The R1 000 minimum wage increase per month is a good success and workers must fight until they achieve 12 500 minimum wage.
The Statement by the Communist Party Of South Africa ( Marxist-Leninist), CPSA(M-L) on the expulsion of NUMSA by Cosatu leadership.
The Communist Party of South Africa ( Marxist – Leninist), CPSA (M-L) strongly condemns the expulsion of NUMSA by COSATU leadership from the federation COSATU. Such action is not in the interests of the South African working class movement because it leads to the weakening and paralysing of the working class movement of South Africa more and more, which is already weakening by the existence of three federations in one country.
